Growing up in Germany I discovered as a child that I also have bengali roots. Bangladesh was a country I have never heard of before. Looking for information I only found a short entry in my children´s dictionary. But the older I got, the more researches I could make and my wish to get to know the country was growing. Eventually I traveled to Bangladesh for two months in 2020. With my book "Bengali Face" I show my impressions from a personal and informative perspective.
